The sheer power and magnitude of the Niagara Falls leave people in awe, so it's no surprise that this natural wonder attracts over 10 million international visitors each year. The falls are about 175 feet high and 3,500 feet in width, pouring over 37 million gallons of water per minute over the rocks that form a bridge for 20% of all the fresh water on earth. The waterfall itself is divided into two sections, each named for the country it borders. The Canadian Horseshoe Falls are on the west side of the Niagara River, and on the opposite shore east of Goat's Island are the American Falls. The mesmerizing sight with a constant plume of mist that soaks delighted ponchoed cruisers are not, however, the only attraction.

The city of Niagara Falls has plenty to see and do, starting with the honeymoon factor. Secluded picnic areas, manicured gardens, luxurious hotels, candlelight dinners, and inspiring views create the scene for picture perfect romance.
