Day 1. Arrive Perth.On arrival in Perth, transfer to your hotel and set out on a city tour, including a guided walk through the spectacular Botanic Gardens of Kings Park. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner and get to know your fellow travelers and Tour Director.

Day 2. Perth, York, Wave Rock, Hyden.Today, 8 Day (TSW8) guests join the tour. Cross the Darling Ranges on the way to York. Like a Local - enjoy a tour of York, Western Australia's very first inland town, founded in 1831. Continue to Hyden and visit Wave Rock, a prehistoric rock formation in the shape of a surf wave. Rising 45 feet high, this ancient
landform formed over 2,700 million years ago.

Day 3. Hyden, Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie.Journey through the wheatbelt on the way to Coolgardie, the site of Western Australia's original gold rush. Continue on to Kalgoorlie, where more than half of the gold mined in Australia is produced, and see the 'Golden Mile', said to be the richest square mile in the world.

Day 4. Kalgoorlie, Lake Lefroy, Esperance.Enjoy a morning at leisure in Kalgoorlie, before heading for stunning Lake Lefroy, a vast salt lake so white in colour it almost appears iridescent. As the lake rarely contains water its size and texture makes it ideal for land sailing. Continue on to the beautiful seaside town of Esperance.

Day 5. Pink Lake, Meet a Local Wildflower Expert, Albany.Take in the sights of Esperance, including Twilight Bay and the Pink Lake. Then, drive through Stirling Ranges National Park and meet a local wildflower expert to learn about what is known as one of the richest areas for flora in the world. From Bluff Knoll, see jagged peaks towering over bushland that is carpeted with wildflowers in spring. Arrive later in Albany.

Day 6. Albany, Valley of the Giants, Busselton.This morning, head to the top of Mt Clarence where you'll enjoy views over the Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound. Explore Albany on a tour, then experience the beauty of the Valley of the Giants, a world famous forest of gigantic tingle trees. Special Stay - unwind at Abbey Beach Resort.

Day 7. Busselton, Margaret River Region.Tour Busselton and visit Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse before travelling into the Margaret River wine growing region. A Taste of Australia - enjoy a tour and tasting at Palmer Wines Vineyard, one of the first vineyards in the Margaret River region. Since its establishment in 1977, this small vineyard has won numerous awards and accolades. After, stop to explore Ngilgi Cave where you'll see a range of fascinating geological formations. Day 8. Busselton, Fremantle.Enjoy some time at leisure this morning to explore Busselton independently, or perhaps join a whale watching tour (own expense). Continue to Fremantle.

Day 9. Fremantle, Perth.Located at the mouth of the beautiful Swan River, the city of Fremantle is famous for its wonderful beaches, as well as its well-preserved colonial architecture. Enjoy the morning and early afternoon to relax or explore Fremantle as you please, before returning to nearby Perth. Here, 8 Day (TSW8) guests transfer to the airport.
