Day 1-2
Depart USA
Depart USA - Depart the States and cross the International Date Line.
Shanghai - Arrive in to the Pearl of China, Shanghai, where you'll be met by your Cultural Embrace bilingual guide and escorted to your deluxe hotel. Known as the largest and most prosperous city in the nation, Shanghai is the economic, financial and cultural center of China. To avoid jet-lag, enjoy a nice and leisure stroll around the famous Bund. Eat, drink and get acquainted with your fellow travelers with a Welcome Reception this evening.
Shanghai - Begin your day visiting the Jade Buddha Temple and then continue on to Yuyuan Bazaar. Enjoy a wonderful lunch with specialized typical dishes from Shanghai. The rest of your afternoon is at leisure before regrouping to enjoy a spectacular night watching a Shanghai acrobatics show.
Shanghai - Visit the spectacular Shanghai Museum to discover years of relics and arts. Then we stop to see the future of China at a local Children's Palace visit. We experience our first cooking demonstration and sample our learned recipe along with other delicious dishes! Your afternoon and evening are at leisure.
Shanghai/Beijing - Fly in to the nation's capital, Beijing's, and transfer to your deluxe hotel. This afternoon we relive the royal life and visit Summer Palace park.
Beijing - Begin your full-day tour with the magnificent Great Wall. In the afternoon visit an acrobatics school in the afternoon. This evening we welcome you with a traditional Peking duck dinner, with discussion of the art of duck roasting and carving.
Beijing - We continue our sightseeing in Beijing with the infamous Tiananmen Square. We'll tour the Forbidden Palace and work up an appetite for a delicious royal lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Temple of Heaven and local market. This evening enjoy at your leisure or opt to visit a traditional Peking opera.
Beijing/Xi'An - Before leaving Beijing, take a rickshaw ride through Beijing's oldest neighborhoods called, hutongs. Discover daily life amongst generations up close and personal and visit local families. Then fly to Xi'An an ancient capital of China located at the eastern end of the Silk Road. Relax this evening in your deluxe hotel.
Xi'An - Begin your day on a guided city tour of Xi'An, visiting the Wild Goose pagoda, and ancient city walls. Enjoy a dumpling lunch and continue on the afternoon to see the magnificent life-sized army of 7,000 Terracotta Warriors. This evening we will enjoy a local specialty of 'haute cuisine' influenced by the Muslim-Chinese ethnicity. Meals included: B, L, D

Guilin
Xi'An/Guilin - View the incredible exhibits of the Shaanxi Historical Museum. This incredible museum, housed in an old Confucian temple built during the Qin dynasty, displays pieces from the Zhou, Qin and Han periods, as well as the finest collection of bronze artifacts in China. Fly to Guilin, China's most scenic city that is best known for its immortal stone mountains and fantastic caves. Enjoy the afternoon outing in the city and the Reed Flute Cave, full of historic treasures.

Guilin
Guilin - Guilin is world-famous for its serene landscape, Karst limestone formations, mist-covered hills, and bamboo groves. Spend the day exploring some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. View spectacular sites like the Solitary Beauty Peak, Fubo Hill, Elephant Trunk Hill. Lunch and a cooking demonstration is included in today's scenic day.
Day 13
Yangshuo
Guilin/Yangshuo - Enjoy a spectacular four-hour cruise down the Li River. On this cruise, you are rewarded with scenes of a multitude of waterfront and farming activities. We disembark in Yangshuo, a town that boasts one of the country's most colorful local markets for gifts and souvenirs. Spend the afternoon shopping, renting a bike, or relaxing at your own leisure. We will bus back with a delicious dinner en route to Guilin.
Guilin/Hong Kong - Say 'zai jian' to mainland China and fly over to the island of Hong Kong. Spend your afternoon and evening at leisure in this bustling city. Shop to your hearts content or dine at one of the bountiful restaurants in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong - Venture off on a Hong Kong Island tour beginning at Taoist temple, Man Mo Temple. Enjoy the spectacular views of the island at Victoria Peak and then take a sampan ride at Aberdeen Harbor. We conclude our island tour at Stanley Market. Enjoy the remainder of your afternoon and evening at leisure.

Hong Kong/Return to the States - Spend the morning at your leisure before your return back to the States.
